Taking a look at the updated 2017 ACC Tournament bracket following a full slate of games on Wednesday at Barclays Center
Itās hard to think of a much more difficult task for a college basketball team than running through the ACC Tournament bracket. No matter if the team is the No. 1 seed or the No. 15 at the bottom, going through the deepest conference in college hoops is a bear of a task. Itās what the eight teams now remaining in the tourney have on their mind, though, following the second round.
To start the second round on Wednesday, the top four seeds remained out of action on double-bye. That left the Syracuse Orange and Miami Hurricanes in the opener, with the latter pulling off the mini upset to advance to face the North Carolina Tar Heels. After them, the Duke Blue Devils had to hold off a late Clemson Tigers run to hang on and win.
After a break in the afternoon, the ACC Tournament returned with Virginia Tech vs. Wake Forest with the latter coming up with a hard-fought win. That left just one game for the nightcap from the 2017 ACC Tournament bracket with the Virginia Cavaliers coming out and making light work of the Pittsburgh Panthers.

North Carolina facing off with Miami is going to be a high quality matchup, and so too should be Notre Dame vs Virginia and Virginia Tech vs Florida State. However, the biggest contest to keep an eye on in the bracket is Duke and Louisville going head-to-head for a spot in the semifinals. No matter how it plays out, the ACC Tournament remains must-watch.
