Jimmy Garoppolo’s Instagram allegedly hacked, taunted rumored trade

The Instagram account of Jimmy Garoppolo was apparently hacked this morning amid rumors about leaving New England.
New England Patriots’ quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo unknowingly created a panic attack in Northeastern United States. According to his verified Instagram account, a supposed hacker posted a message hinting at a possible departure from New England.
ESPN debunked the post and any trade talks involving the second string quarterback out of New England.
The obvious spark that fueled this fire was the recent movement of the rumor mill, of which said the Cleveland Browns maintained interest in Garoppolo. ESPN noted NFL insider Adam Schefter’s report that there was – and is – no likelihood of Garoppolo leaving, regardless of the rumors. As for Cleveland, they landed ex-Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt and former Houston Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler over free agency.
Garoppolo is the latest victim of hacking behind the darkness of the Information Age. Though it’s harmless most of the time, hacking has one objective: make a foolery out of the unknowing and the unexpected. After social media received word of this fake post, which was shared at 4 a.m., the image was eventually deleted and became unavailable.

Since joining New England in 2014, Garoppolo saw a lot of pine on the bench. Of course, Tom Brady still remains number one on the depth chart and Terrific Tom doesn’t seem to show any wear and tear. That said, it could be best for Garoppolo to leave New England to chase his dreams of starting a full regular season at quarterback. It also goes to say that Tom Brady is likely to get another suspension than to be injured given his insane and inhumane regimen.
