Mass Effect: Andromeda launch trailer is officially here

Mass Effect: Andromeda is finally almost here. For now, here’s the launch trailer to help you contain the hype.

At long last, a new Mass Effect game is coming in the form of Mass Effect: Andromeda. So far, everything we’ve seen from this game looks spectacular. Developer BioWare knows what the fans wanted to see and is looking to deliver on all fronts. The new launch trailer gives us a tiny glimpse of what we’ve been looking forward to for so long.

The series began back in 2007 with Mass Effect. The game told a compelling story, had intense action-packed gameplay and the dialogue between the characters was great. The highlight was the choice system. The choices you made impacted the entire story. It was an interesting feature, one that has been imitated but arguably never quite duplicated.

BioWare did more of the same with Mass Effect 2 but took it to a whole new level. It’s widely regarded as the best game in the series, especially after Mass Effect 3‘s ending was extremely disappointing.

We’re hoping for all the same in Andromeda.. Check out the launch trailer below:

In Andromeda, you’re on a mission as Pathfinders. Playing as Scott or Sarah Ryder (depending on who you choose), your main objective is to find a new home. This won’t come easy, though, considering the vast galaxy to explore and all the danger that comes with it.

This game will go in a new direction. Yes, the action is still there, as well as the emphasis on the characters and the story. However, you’ll be able to explore like never before.

You’ll encounter all sorts of creatures and enemies, other people that may help you or try to harm you, and most of all, potential places to call home. It all sounds very exciting and mysterious at the same time.
