There’s no way to come up with more racing-gambling metaphors so we’ll just skip those and go right to telling you when to tune in for NASCAR action from Las Vegas.

Viva la checkered flag? It’s going to be that way for two drivers this weekend, as both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series roll into Las Vegas (sorry trucks, you’ll have to wait until later this year).

The Kobalt 400 is the highlight on Sunday afternoon, with defending race winner Brad Keselowski trying to defend that crown and make it two wins in a row in 2017 after fortune and speed combined for him in a victory at Atlanta last week.

Neither Keselowski nor Daytona 500 winner Kurt Busch will take the track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway as the points leader, though, since Kevin Harvick has racked up enough stage points in NASCAR’s new system to sit atop the standings for the moment. He won this race just two years ago and will surely be hoping to turn his lap-leading dominance into a trip to Victory Lane.

Keselowski will also feature in the Boyd Gaming 300 on Saturday afternoon, where he’ll be joined by Cup Series regulars Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez, Ty Dillon, Aric Almirola, Austin Dillon and Joey Logano. The XFINITY drivers took a backseat to the most part to the top circuit’s competitors at Atlanta, and Vegas could feature more of the same.

Next: Las Vegas will have two race weekends in 2018
