Find out how to watch the XFINITY Series drivers try to hold off their Cup Series counterparts in the Boyd Gaming 300.
NASCAR took more steps than ever in 2017 before to limit the number of XFINITY Series races that would have invasions of Cup Series stars. Despite that, there are going to be stops where a number of them are in the mix, and the Boyd Gaming 300 in Las Vegas is one of them.
Eight drivers from the top series will take part in the XFINITY Series race, getting some extra laps in at Las Vegas Motor Speedway before the Kobalt 400 on Sunday. Points leader Elliott Sadler will try to hold them off, as well as William Byron, Ryan Reed and Brendan Gaughan, all of whom are within 10 points of the top spot.
With qualifying set for just three hours before the green flag drops for the Boyd Gaming 300, fans will have to wait and see if the Cup Series crew will lead the early laps, but that seems like a great bet in a city full of them. To see how it all plays out, here’s how to catch the race live, either on TV or online:
Date: Saturday, March 11
Time: 4:00 p.m. ET
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
Track: Las Vegas Motor Speedway
Television: Fox Sports 1
Live Stream: Fox Sports Go (requires cable authentication)
Next: NASCAR TV schedule from Las Vegas
If you miss the Boyd Gaming 300 live, Fox Sports 1 will re-air it at 4 a.m. Eastern on Sunday morning — just don’t forget that Daylight Saving Time will mean that gets here an hour earlier than you might expect.
