The newest trailer for Wonder Woman dropped on Saturday during the 2017 Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon and you can watch it right here.
Wonder Woman is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2017 and the newest trailer was released Saturday ahead of its June 2 release. The trailer, which premiered during the 2017 Kids Choice Awards on Nickelodeon, features Gal Gadot as the iconic Wonder Woman.
Here’s a look at the new trailer:
This has been a busy week for Wonder Woman. The new movie poster was released earlier this week and it features Wonder Woman kneeling with her sword and shield on what looks to be a barren planet. The image is visually stunning, with Gadot’s Wonder Woman casting a long shadow into the foreground.
A new sneak peek was also released to tease the debut of the new trailer. In the teaser we see Diana facing off against Robin Wright’s General Antiope, who warns the Amazonian princess to never let her guard down. She also cautions Diana about believing that her enemies will fight fair. “Never let your guard down!” she tells Diana.
It’s likely no coincidence that Wonder Woman is getting so much attention this week. With International Women’s Day on March 8, Wonder Woman is an ideal role model for women young and old, and with Patty Jenkins at the helm and Israeli actress Gal Gadot in the title role, there is a lot about this movie that is shattering glass ceilings. From a fan perspective, it has been a lot of fun seeing how excited and proud both Gadot and Jenkins are of this film.

This is the first time that the most well known female DC Comics character will have a chance to give her male costars a run for the money on the big screen. Some fans argued that Wonder Woman upstaged both Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman in 2016’s Batman vs Superman.
