Who stands at the top of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Standings after the 2017 Kobalt 400 on Sunday?

Las Vegas always serves as a great place to shake up the NASCAR Cup Series Standings at the beginning of every season. It’s hard to get a gauge on how the race is going to end, because it’s almost impossible to do so. On Sunday, things got wild again during the race.

As Martin Truex Jr. picked up his first win of the year and swept his way through the three stages, Brad Keselowski jumped to the front of the points standings. Despite losing the lead to car issues, Keselowski was able to finish high enough after his win last week to take over the top spot this week.

Kevin Harvick would end up losing his top spot thanks to an early exit. A blown tire would be the end of the day for the No. 4 car and he ended up dropping to eighth in the NASCAR Cup Series Standings.

With the win, Truex Jr. now moves up to third in the standings. He’s right behind Kurt Busch and Keselowski. Here’s the complete Monster Energy NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Standings after Las Vegas.
