Ben Simmons is back to being Ben Simmons

As seen in a couple of videos posted to Twitter, Ben Simmons looks to be getting back to his former self.
Ben Simmons is back in business folks!
The former number one overall pick is back to grinding it out in the gym, as videos surfaced of him bouncing, running and dunking on the court during a team practice.
This season has been a bit of a fart-in-the-wind for Simmons as he was anticipated to return from his offseason injury this year but has not progressed as quickly as he was supposed to. There is still good news for Philadelphia 76ers fans, though, as he is definitely on the right track to being one hundred percent healthy before the start of next season.
Simmons and his teammate, Robert Covington, are seen going through some shooting drills with their coach. This tweet is also good news for any Sixers fan because it looks like Covington will be ready to suit up in tonight’s big matchup against the Golden State Warriors.
In the tweet above, Simmons is seen making his way towards the hoop and slams it down at the beginning of the video. In his second go around, Simmons shows off his dribbling moves and then attempts a step back shot, which he nails.
Simmons is seen dunking in the beginning of the video (and is then one-upped by the Sixers assistant coach, Lloyd Pierce). Then he takes a basketball and starts to juggle the ball with his feet, an impressive feat for anyone who does not play soccer regularly.
Next: Ben Simmons is out for the year
There are two major takeaways from the tweets above: Simmons is progressing well and he is in good spirits. The latter may be more important to Simmons but the first takeaway is the most valuable to all of the fans and coaches alike. Even with his injured foot, he is able to go through shooting drills with the team.
