BlizzCon 2017 dates have been revealed
This years BlizzCon is going down later this year. Prepare yourselves for a ton of information on games like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm.
The annual Blizzard Entertainment convention, BlizzCon, will be here before we know it. On Tuesday, the team over at BlizzCon’s website announced the official dates for the two-day convention.
According to the website, the 11th annual BlizzCon will begin Nov. 3 and end on Nov. 4 at the Anaheim Convention Center. If you’re looking to purchase tickets, they will be going on sale two separate days.
Starting Wednesday, April 5 at 10 p.m. ET, you’ll be able to buy tickets for $199. The second day will be Saturday, April 8, starting at 1 p.m. ET. We expect these tickets to go fast, so if you’re interested in going, we recommend that you plan ahead of time.
If you’ve never been to BlizzCon, it’s a convention full of some of the most popular games from Blizzard. For example, games like Heroes of the Storm, World of Warcraft and the most recent title, Overwatch, all have a huge presence.
Aside from playing these games at various locations spread out across the venue, there are many other events to attend. There are developer panels, where the developers give updates on these games and what to expect in the future. They may even announce new titles, which is always exciting.
Aside from that, there are also competitive tournaments where professional teams from across the globe compete in games like Overwatch.
Speaking of Overwatch, we wouldn’t be surprised if Doomfist finally makes an appearance. Much like Sombra, Blizzard has been teasing this character for months. We thought he would make his way to the game around this time. However, Orisa is the first one up this year.

We aren’t sure whether he’ll be coming to Overwatch this year. An update or some sort of announcement would be sufficient, though.
