This dog seems to have the time of his life as he slides down the snow in Lake Tahoe.
It’s important for everyone to have fun while on the job, and this dog is definitely having some fun.
In Lake Tahoe, California, this 6-year-old dog decided that today would be a good day to release some stress while on the clock. This dogs name is Truckee and sure knows how to have a good time. He propelled himself down the side of the mountain with his hind legs and continued to slide for roughly two hundred feet before the video ended. Truckee has probably done this before, as he did not look phased by the speed that he was gaining as he rode the mountainside. He even flipped over to his backside to pick up more speed.
Truckee is a part of Heavenly ski resort’s south Lake Tahoe avalanche rescue dog and he is probably going to busy this spring break. There has already been a total of 37 feet of snow that has already fallen in the Tahoe area. With the quick influx of people flocking to the Tahoe area for spring break, Truckee might have his hands full, but this dog can handle it.
Truckee and his rag-tag group of pals have been featured on the internet before, as their handler, Chris Child, likes to post videos of Truckee and his friends on the internet.
This one comes from Child’s Instagram:
As they move towards the camera, the dogs are seen gleefully wagging their tails as they are high above the ground. These dogs are not afraid of a challenge!

Here is Truckee in all of his glory. He is posing for Child as he marks his fifth birthday last year. Hopefully, we can all get some more Truckee videos before Summer strikes.
