NCAA Tournament 2017: How to watch on PS4, Xbox One and Apple TV
Here’s how to watch the NCAA Tournament on all your streaming-capable devices
The first week of March Madness is here, and excitement – and the cord cutters – are here. This year’s tournament looks to be one of the most interesting in years. While the defending champion from last year – Villanova – has earned the overall #1 seed, they landed in the brutal East region, and will face plenty of tests on their way to a potential repeat. Traditional powers like UNC, Kansas, and Duke are contenders again, and other candidates like Baylor, UCLA, Oregon, and Arizona are there to challenge the powers that be. Throughout it all will be upsets, fantastic stories, and the magic of single elimination tournaments.
And, especially in this first week, you don’t want to miss a second of the action. With so many people getting away from traditional cable packages, the ways in which you can access the Tournament have multiplied.
Here’s how you can watch all the NCAA Tournament madness you can handle from your home streaming devices:
Xbox One: The NCAA has recently made its NCAA March Madness Live App available on the Xbox One, as well as a variety of other devices. Just maneuver to the Xbox One store to download the app free of charge, and enjoy.
PS4: Playstation viewers don’t have the same easy option of the March Madness Live App, but there are other easy ways to get your March Madness fix. Playstation Vue offers a subscription for the bundle of CBS Networks the Tournament will be aired on, and just recently added a multi-screen option that lets you watch up to three games on the same screen. A subscription to CBS All Access would also give you the ability to watch games; a free 7-day trial (in case you only want to watch the first 4 days) is being offered now.
Apple TV: Those who use Apple TV as their home streaming device have a couple different options to choose from for March Madness broadcasts. The NCAA March Madness Live App is available for download on Apple TV. Users can also make use of CBS Sports App’s streaming services. Both can be found on the device’s App Store
