Updated WWE WrestleMania 33 card after March 14 SmackDown Live

Here is the updated WrestleMania 33 card following the March 14 edition of SmackDown Live & 205 Live.

Early in the night, Becky Lynch was battling Natalya in a primer for their inclusion in the Women’s Championship Match at WrestleMania. Lynch picked up the victory, but the big story was what happened after the match. Carmella threw her name into the title match by way of kicks to the faces of both Natalya and Lynch.

It’s been weeks in the making, but all that trash talk between couples has finally come to its culmination. As made clear by SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Nikki Bella are officially put into a WrestleMania match against The Miz and Maryse. Bryan’s reasoning was because he really, really wants to punch The Miz in the face, but because he can’t, he’d love if his sister-in-law and her man would.

On 205 Live, we learned who the Number One Contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is — Austin Aries. Aries defeated four other men to punch his ticket for the right to face Neville. This has been the only Cruiserweight match that’s been announced for the WrestleMania card.

AJ Styles took out his frustration of not having a match at WrestleMania on Shane McMahon, in the form of putting Shane’s head through a car window. Daniel Bryan then fired AJ Styles for his actions. I doubt this sacking will stick, as seconds before SmackDown Live went off the air, McMahon said that after Styles actions in the parking lot, he now has an opponent for WrestleMania, Shane McMahon himself.
