With March Madness right around the corner, the former United States president released a surprise for everyone.
Barrack Obama has revealed his selections for March Madness to everyone. He started the tradition back in 2008 when he entered office and continued to make one every year. Although the current president, Donald Trump, will not be filling out a bracket this Spring, Obama will be continuing his tradition of filling out a bracket. Obama released his choices through the Obama Foundation twitter account and he made both a men’s and women’s bracket.

These coveted brackets will surely be watched and judged closely by everyone.
On the men’s side, he has all of the number one seeds advancing to the Sweet 16, but only two of them make it to the Final Four, Kansas and North Carolina University. He has Gonzaga being knocked out in the Sweet 16 by Notre Dame and Villanova being kicked out in the Elite Eight. He has North Carolina and Duke in the championship and North Carolina winning it all. One surprising pick that he has is Cincinnati beating UCLA in the round of 32. We will see how that plays out.
On the Women’s side, there is no surprise that UConn is the winner of Obama’s bracket, as they are the projected winner of everyone’s women’s bracket. With four straight championships (2013-2016) UConn is the heavy favorite to win another this season.

March Madness has already kicked off, with the last of the “First Four” games happening tonight. The real madness starts tomorrow with a hectic first day in the round of 64 where all the teams are looking to beat one another. Maybe we will have another Cinderella story this year? Or maybe it goes as the former president predicts it will, but I highly doubt that.
