Eddie Lacy will have a new home for the 2017 NFL season, as the veteran running back signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Tuesday.
Eddie Lacy has had a rough go in Green Bay the past few seasons, battling injuries and weight problems. On Tuesday, Lacy saw his career in the green and yellow come to an end, as he signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks should have a great running game in 2017, as the team will now boast Lacy, C.J. Prosise and Thomas Rawls.
Malcolm Butler was given a first round tender by the New England Patriots, but that will not stop the New Orleans Saints from bringing him in for a visit. Butler is one of the premier cornerbacks in the league, and the Saints have had issues with their defensive backfield in recent years. If the Pats do not match the Saints offer, the Saints will have to send a first-round pick for him, which in this case would be the No. 11 overall selection.
The Oakland Raiders made a big move to improve their return game on Tuesday, signing All-Pro return man Cordarrelle Patterson to a two-year deal. Patterson will instantly give the Raiders one of the best return men in the AFC West, turning a weakness into a strength for the 2017 NFL season. Patterson is only 25 years old, and while the contract could be voided after one year, the odds are he should flourish in Oakland.
The Cincinnati Bengals are bringing back Andre Smith, an offensive tackle who spent last season with the Minnesota Vikings. Smith only appeared in three games for the Vikes, as he had to go through season-ending surgery on a torn tricep. The 30-year old Smith has started 77 games during his eight-year career, and should battle for the starting right tackle spot for the Bengals.

Finally, the end of the line has come once again for Percy Harvin, who retired for the second time on Tuesday. Harvin retired in April of 2016, but came back to play in two games with the Buffalo Bills towards the end of the regular season. The 2009 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, Harvin has had to battle injuries throughout his career, including last season, where migraines kept him out of the lineup.
