Here’s how to watch Thursday’s NCAA Tournament game between Iowa State and Nevada online.

The first week of March Madness is here, and it’s time to get excited. The first four days of the Madness – with games tipping off every half hour or so – is one of the best times in sports. Iowa State will take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in a classic 5-12 showdown on Thursday night.

Iowa State is among the most experienced teams in the NCAA tournament. They’re led by a slew of senior contributors, including Deonte Burton, Monte Morris, Nazareth Mitrou-Long, and Matt Thomas. What Iowa State does best is offense – specifically, hit 3s, and avoid turnovers. Their 40.2 percentage from deep was good for 11th in the country, and they only turned the ball over on 14.1 percent of possessions.

They’re lead on offense by the steady hand of Monte Morris. His efficiency in guiding the attack and ability to set up for his teammates make him one of the best point guards in America. And he’s not hurting for support – all but two of the Cyclones rotation players hit better than 38.1 percent from 3. They’re multi-faceted and dangerous on offense – and none too shabby on the defensive end.

Looking to pull the classic upset of the 5-seed will be the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Mountain West Conference champions will look to ride their 3-point attack to victory. They’re among the best in the nation at taking and making 3s, and their attack is driven by attacking guards Marcus Marshall and Lindsey Drew. The two take turns initiating for the offense, with assist rates north of 20 percent. But they’re also solid from 3. Marshall in particular has taken more threes than just about anyone else in Division 1, and is connecting on 38.6 percent of them. The two will have a big part of any upset bid the Wolf Pack mount.
