Marquette King got on Twitter to try and recruit Marshawn Lynch to join the Oakland Raiders.

Even after a disappointing end to their 2016 season, the Oakland Raiders are on the rise. Despite having a plethora of stars, their most popular player might be their punter Marquette King. He has undeniable swag, which is something you don’t normally say for punters. Recently, the Raiders have been trying to add Marshawn Lynch to their squad after losing Latavius Murray to the Minnesota Vikings. King joined the movement, though he used a unique incentive to do so.

This is what makes him one of the most likable guys in the NFL. King has such a great sense of humor and isn’t afraid to be witty. In all seriousness, he would be probably be happy to carry the pads of Beast Mode.

Lynch would be a nice addition to the Raiders. They’re a relatively young squad that could use a veteran like him. He’s a very similar runner to Murray, as he’s very physical and thrives when he runs for contact. Lynch would have to prove his health, but when he’s been healthy, he’s been productive. He’d also be a great fit because Beast Mode lives in California. Maybe Lynch would like to play somewhere closer to home than the Seattle Seahawks.

It would be awesome to see King and Beast Mode on the same team. The Raiders would be going back to their glory days with all the personality and swagger on the team. Led by quarterback Derek Carr, Oakland would be able to compete in the AFC West and perhaps dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs. King’s coming off arguably the best season of his career while Lynch is looking to play in 2017 after his brief retirement.
