WWE’s Paige releases statement on leaked photos and videos

Some explicit material was released of Paige on Friday, and the WWE superstar has released a statement

In the age of social media, there really are few things worse than invasion of privacy. We’ve seen tons of instances where celebrities have to deal with leaked personal footage of them, something no one on this earth should have to deal with.

The latest victim of this is WWE superstar Paige. On Friday, there were leaked images and videos of the former WWE Divas Champion that should never have seen the light of day, but they unfortunately did. And no, if you’re looking for links to the footage, you absolutely came to the wrong place for that information.

Not long after the internet started to light up about what was taking place, Paige released a brief statement on Twitter acknowledge what had unfortunately happened to her.

She followed that up with this.

While you will find folks on the internet making their jokes and whatnot, the fact of the matter is that this is uncalled for in every instance — not just with Paige here. Invasion of privacy is a serious offense, and whomever leaked this footage could be looking at some serious time behind bars and rightfully so.

Paige has not been on television lately for WWE, as she has been recovering from serious neck surgery. She’s had more downs with WWE in recent memory, as she was suspended just twice last year for violation of the company’s Wellness Policy.

All anyone can hope for at this point, Paige especially, is that the person behind this atrocity is found and swiftly given the punishment that they deserve.
