The first four games of the 2017 NCAA Tournament First Round on Friday, saw the Baylor Bears survive an upset bid and the Michigan Wolverines win a classic.

After the favorites took care of business in the 2017 NCAA Tournament on Thursday, it was more of the same to start Friday. However, there were some very entertaining games to begin the second day of the first round.

The Baylor Bears once again had to face an upset bid in the first around. New Mexico State gave the Bears a scare early, but like all the favorites yesterday, the Bears were able to pull away in the second half and punch their ticket to the next round. The Bears will play the winner of SMU and USC in the next round.

Arkansas and Seton Hall played a game that went right down to the wire. A late flagrant foul call would prove to be pivotal as the Razorbacks came away with the win. They will await the winner of North Carolina and Texas Southern.

The classic game on the day was between Michigan and Oklahoma State. These two teams put on an impressive battle that was filled with offense. The Wolverines made 11 three’s in the second half alone and were able to pull away at the end for the huge win.
