Everton face Hull at Goodison Park on Saturday, March 18. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Everton entered the week sitting seventh in the table but were dealt a blow when Romelu Lukaku rejected their latest contract offer. It appears as if the Belgian striker will leave Goodison Park after the season. Lukaku has scored 19 goals in 27 games this term. Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Lukaku are tied with the most goals in the Premier League this year.
On Saturday, Everton host 18th-place Hull. Last week, Hull defeated Swansea after getting two goals from substitute Oumar Niasse. Despite being picked as preseason favorites to be relegated after one season in the Premier League, Hull have played better lately. Since the start of 2017, the Tigers have managed to get 10 of a possible 27 points. They sit just one point back of Crystal Palace in the safe zone, although Palace have one game in hand.
Hull will be in for a tough time at Goodison Park on Saturday. Under manager Ronald Koeman this season, Everton have lost just one game at home. Kevin Mirallas and Ross Barkley will both have to get the ball into attacking positions so that Everton and Lukaku can finish.
Koeman’s squad will need some help from Arsenal or Manchester United if they’re going to finish above seventh in the table. Both Manchester United and Arsenal have two games in hand on Everton. If Everton are ambitious about getting into the top six, they’ll need to take all three points from Hull.
