The 2017 NCAA Tournament will enter its next round on Saturday after seeing 32 games take place on Thursday and Friday. These remaining 32 teams will now battle for a spot in the Sweet 16, all of whom have an eye on the National Championship. Two of them are Purdue and Iowa State.
Purdue and Iowa State’s game will take place at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI. It’s part of the Midwest Region.
Purdue is coming off a win against Vermont, 80-70. This game was close at the half, but the Boilermakers pulled away in the final 20 minutes with 43 points to clinch the win. Caleb Swanigan had a huge game for them, posting 16 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and two blocks. Vince Edwards also had a game-high 21 points.
As for Iowa State, they defeated No. 12 Nevada, 84-73 on Thursday. They had five players score in double figures, including Monte Morris. He filled up the stat sheet with 19 points, eight assists and eight rebounds. This was while the Cyclones shot 55.6 percent from the field and made 16 of 18 free throws.

An issue for ISU may be going up against Purdue’s size. They started four guards in their first game, but may not be able to get away with this again.
