Burnley opened the scoring last weekend against Liverpool, when Ashley Barnes scored in the seventh minute. Unfortunately for fans of the Clarets, Sean Dyche’s side couldn’t hold onto the lead. Goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Emre Can secured the win for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Burnley will lean on Andre Gray for goals against Sunderland. The English striker has eight goals this season for Burnley. In the first meeting this season between Sunderland and Burnley, Gray scored a late goal to ensure Burnley would get all three points.
