During the Wichita State Shockers loss to the Kentucky Wildcats, WSU head coach Gregg Marshall’s wife was apparently getting a bit rowdy

It’s hard to argue with the notion that the Wichita State Shockers got a bad break at the hands of the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee. They were one of the best teams in the country by most metrics, but only received a No. 10 seed. However, Gregg Marshall’s team had the ultimate chance to prove themselves on Sunday, facing the Kentucky Wildcats in the Second Round.

The Shockers came within inches of knocking off the No. 2 seed in the South Region, but ultimately lost by three points. It was one of many exciting games on Sunday. But apparently the matchup from Bankers Life Fieldhouse early in the day’s slate had a little more excitement in the stands than they bargained for, courtesy of Lynn Marshall—the Wichita State coach’s wife.

Marshall has been known to be quite vocal while watching from the stands, in addition to being cartoonish in her reactions. She must’ve taken it to new extremes on Sunday, though.

According to WTVQ’s Kennedy Hardman (H/T Bleacher Report), Lynn Marshall had to be spoken to by security on three separate occasions during the Wichita State vs. Kentucky matchup. What’s more, they actually wanted to kick her out, but chose not to because she’s the head coach’s wife:

Additionally, The Associated Press is reporting that Marshall had to be escorted from Bankers Life Fieldhouse at the game’s conclusion due to yelling “expletives.”

We can only hope that there is video of this whole incident somewhere. This all sounds completely bizarre and indubitably entertaining. Even still, it’s not exactly a great look coming out of an NCAA Tournament game, and certainly not a way to ease the pain of a Wichita State loss.
