Indianapolis will be host to one of the most anticipated matchups of the 2017 NCAA Tournament when the second-seeded Kentucky Wildcats take on the No. 10 Wichita State Shockers on Sunday afternoon.
Kentucky earned the No. 2 seed in the South Region with a record of 30-5 and SEC Tournament title. The Wildcats didnāt have the easiest time with Northern Kentucky in Fridayās NCAA Tournament opener and had to hold off a late Norse charge in a 79-70 win.
With Malik Monk struggling from deep, the Wildcats shot just 3-of-17 on 3-point attempts against the Norse. DeāAaron Fox paced the offense with 19 points, with Isaiah Briscoe chipping in 17.

Wichita State is easily the most underseeded team in the tournament with a record of 31-4 that includes a current 16-game win streak. The Shockers had to battle hard for a 64-58 victory over Dayton in Fridayās opener for its fifth straight first round win.
