Louisville took a lead into the half against Michigan, and one of the highlights was this Deng Adel monster jam

There are a lot of good games in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, and we get started with a really good one as the Louisville Cardinals take on the Michigan Wolverines in a rematch of their 2013 National Championship meeting. The Cardinals took a 36-28 lead into the half of this one.

The action in the first half was fast-paced, but really there was only one highlight that had everyone talking and it came from Louisville’s Deng Adel.

As the first half was coming to a close and the Cardinals were looking to extend their lead, following a steal in transition Adel would throw down one of the monster dunks of the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. Just listen to this devastation of the rim.

Adel has been providing highlights such as this all season long, and now he’s providing them when they count the most in the NCAA Tournament. If this is what happens when the Cardinals are in transition, then Michigan and their run in March Madness may be coming to an end very soon.

The winner of this one will move on to the Sweet 16 where they will meet either Oregon or Rhode Island. The Ducks and the Cinderella Rams will meet later in the day on Sunday for the right to also move on to the Sweet 16.

One thing is for sure, though. They had better be prepared to not let Adel put them on the wrong side of a highlight reel if Louisville is the one to advance.
