Jaylen Barford hit an insane circus shot against the North Carolina Tar Heels.
March Madness is a non-stop highlight reel. When the best college basketball players in the nation play against each other, highlights are the norm.
There have been some incredible shots hit during the 2017 NCAA Tournament but few of them have been as ridiculous as Jaylen Barford’s against the Tar Heels. The Arkansas Razorbacks guard got a up-and-under shot to somehow fall in, providing a priceless highlight.
Barford uses the top of the backboard to somehow nail the circus shot. He shows impressive athleticism and control to be able to nail that shot. This feels like the kind of shot you want to hit in a game of “Horse”. If you see your buddy pulling that off in a friendly game, just take the letter. At least save yourself the embarrassment of trying to nail a shot like that.

The freshman guard has won himself a few fans with this insane off the backboard beauty. Barford averaged 12.9 points, 1.2 steals, and 2.0 assists in just over 25 minutes of playing time per game in his first season. He put up good numbers against the SEC, averaging over 13 points per game against his conference foes.
Going into halftime, the Razorbacks are hanging in there against the top-seed Tar Heels. They’re trailing 38-33. Barford has just four points, but two of them were about as impressive as it gets. Regardless of how the second round game goes, the freshman guard is the most recent player to win some people over during March Madness. Barford isn’t the first to do so and he certainly won’t be the last.
