Your hub to keep up with all of the 2017 NCAA Tournament Second Round games, upsets and more from Sunday, March 19

On Sunday, March 19 eight games will tip off in the Second Round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament. The goal for all 16 teams in action will be to try and punch their tickets to the next round, the vaunted Sweet 16. If the results are anything like they were on Saturday, fans should most certainly be in for a tremendous treat.

Anyone who tells you that the First Round of the 2017 NCAA Tournament was riveting drama is either out of touch or lying. Yes, there were several good games and close finishes. However, the start of the Second Round proved that it was absolutely nothing in comparison. After all, when you have the No. 1 overall seed going down—and in a thriller, no less—it’s hard to top it.

There will certainly be a chance to top it with the slate in store for Sunday’s Second Round action. The likes of the North Carolina Tar Heels, UCLA Bruins, Louisville Cardinals, Duke Blue Devils and Oregon Ducks will all be in action to end the Second Round action.

However, those don’t highlight the two biggest games tipping off on Sunday in March Madness. The Kentucky Wildcats squaring off with the Wichita State Shockers is going to be high drama early in the day, the latter trying to prove they belong and knock off a giant. Immediately following that, the Kansas Jayhawks take on Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans. Kansas is clearly the better team, but never (ever) count out Sparty in March.

It finally seems as if the sheer calamity that we’ve come to love about March Madness has arrived. With Villanova being upset, the floodgates could open and more high seeds could now be bounced. Let’s hope so as the final eight teams will punch their tickets to the Sweet 16 on Sunday.
