When does The Bachelorette start? We tell you when Rachel Lindsay will start her search for love in season 13 of ABC’s The Bachelor spin-off.

When does The Bachelorette start? With season 21 of ABC‘s The Bachelor having ended last Monday, fans are wondering when the reality dating show’s spin-off will return for season 13 with Rachel Lindsay starting her quest for TV romance.

Season 13 of The Bachelorette premieres on Monday, May 22 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Dallas-based attorney Rachel was one of the final four women competing for Nick Viall’s attention on this season of The Bachelor. Though Nick broke up with her in episode 10 and ultimately proposed to Vanessa Grimaldi in last week’s season finale, fans — and ABC — fell in love with Rachel and she was announced as the next Bachelorette in February.

Rachel will be making history for the franchise as the first African-American person to be named the lead of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.

We don’t know who will be trying to win her heart this summer but they’ll have to be committed to win her over. Rachel may not have won season 21 of The Bachelor (congrats, Vanessa) and she wasn’t the season’s showiest competitor (hi, Corinne!) but she definitely was a strong woman who fared better than most in the murky waters of reality TV.

Will she have better luck the second time around? You’ll have to watch starting May 22 to find out how she fares.

Though her season won’t begin for another two months, fans don’t have to wait until then for your next dose of reality dating scoop.
