WWE WrestleMania 33: Nia Jax wins way into RAW Women’s title match
After defeating Bayley on RAW from Brooklyn, NY, Nia Jax will be added to the RAW Women’s Championship match at WWE WrestleMania 33
Wrestling fans have been looking forward to the RAW Women’s Championship match taking form for WWE WrestleMania 33. There was a great triple threat last year from the women, but the one between the champion Bayley, Sasha Banks and Charlotte seemed like it could be even better. Now there’s been a game-changer added to the match to make it a Fatal 4-Way.
On Monday’s episode of RAW from Brooklyn, NY, Bayley was punished for supporting Mick Foley—after Foley was fired—when Stephanie McMahon put her in a No-Disqualification Match against Nia Jax. If Jax were to defeat the Women’s Champion, she would be added to the match.
It was quite clear from the time that the match was announced that Jax was going to pick up the victory, especially given the stipulation against Bayley. Sure enough, that’s the way that things played out. The power of Jax was too much for the beloved champion and she ultimately used the No-DQ stip to her advantage. Now it’ll be Bayley vs. Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte vs. Nia Jax at WWE WrestleMania 33:
She’s not like most girls—except that she is in this case. Jax is exactly like Charlotte and Sasha at Mania in that she’ll be looking to take the belt off of Bayley. What’s interesting, though, is the new dynamic that the powerful Jax adds to the match.

Though some fans might shoot down the idea, it actually makes the match far more interesting as a Fatal 4-Way. The champ and two others are all athletically gifted, but they don’t have the strength of size to match up with Jax. As such, she could potentially create a compelling storyline within the match and everyone ultimately be better for it.
