The Variety map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is out today. Check out the new trailer.

If you needed another reason to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, you have it now. An all-new expansion pack, the Variety map pack, is out today, and a new trailer shows off all the maps in action.

This game is arguably the best Call of Duty game ever. Not only is it still bringing back classic maps, but it’s also introducing new content. We’ve seen new weapons make their way to the game and we wouldn’t be surprised if we see new maps soon. For now, we’ll take these four maps that we loved playing back in 2007.

The four maps included in the Variety map pack are Chinatown, Broadcast, Creek and Killhouse. The most memorable one for us is Chinatown because of the vibrant colors and neon lights. Every other map is extremely fun to play on as well.

Check out the new trailer below to get a better idea of what they look like in glorious HD:

In Broadcast, you play in an abandoned news station. It can get very chaotic, which turns in some intense gameplay and gun battles. In Creek, snipers and assault rifles are your best friends. Finally, Killhouse is a very tight and compact map. There will be plenty of close-quarter combat, which is always a blast.

Other than some new guns, we haven’t seen anything else that’s relatively new to the game. If it were up to us, we would create new maps specifically for this game. Modern Warfare Remastered is very enjoyable; however, we’ve seen it all before.

This game caters more to the old school gamers rather than the new generation. Not only will new content keep us around a bit longer, but it gives new players something to look forward to. Only time will tell if they do add new maps down the line.
