High Value SG

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, DET at BKN ($4700): Caldwell-Pope remains one of the highest-variance, streakiest starting guards in the NBA. After seven games in which he had averaged 9.1 points per game, he popped for 23 points and eight assists against the Suns on Sunday. This indicates that he may be warmed up, especially against poor defenses, and he gets one of the worst defenses in the NBA on Tuesday with the Nets. **

Denzel Valentine, CHI at TOR ($4600): seems to have picked up his game with the injury to Dwyane Wade, averaging 26 fantasy points in 29 minutes over his last three games. In his last outing he dropped an 11-point/12-rebound double-double. On Tuesday, he faces a Raptors defense that has allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to shooting guards. **

Wesley Matthews, DAL vs GS ($4500): Matthews edged out Josh Richardson, MIA vs PHO ($4600) for this spot, though both are about equally recommended. Matthews had been ice-cold of late, but seemed to find his shot with 15 points, five boards and three assists in his last outing. It was against Brooklyn, so take that with a grain of salt, but Matthews is a good enough player to produce starter production in any given game. **
