David Njoku

TE, Miami (FL)

The Atlanta Falcons head into the offseason fresh off the worst letdown in Super Bowl history. Leading the New England Patriots by 25 points in the second half, the Falcons defense just ran out of gas, and Brady was able to pull off the stunning comeback. Atlanta should be a favorite in the NFC to return to the Super Bowl next season, but as we saw with Carolina, it is always a long road back.

In 2016, the Falcons offense was stellar, as Matt Ryan won his first NFL Most Valuable Player Award. The quarterback threw for nearly 5,000 yards, leading the Falcons to one of the best seasons in team history. There is little else they can do to improve their offense for 2017, but bringing in a pass-catching tight end is definitely an area that could help.

David Njoku of Miami (FL) is a freak of an athlete at the tight end position, and would give Ryan the best tight end he has had since Tony Gonzalez. He definitely is a first round talent, so he could certainly be gone by the time the Falcons draft at No. 31. If available, he would give Ryan an incredible weapon over the middle, allowing his stellar wideouts to be even more productive in 2017.
