Oregon Ducks forward Jordan Bell put down a one-handed dunk right over the Michigan Wolverines in the 2017 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 on Thursday night.

There probably isn’t a more intriguing game on the Sweet 16 schedule than the Michigan Wolverines trying to keep the good vibes rolling against the Oregon Ducks. The two teams that are known for their offenses, actually didn’t score as much one would expect in the first half. That didn’t mean there weren’t highlight plays though. After whiffing on a dunk, Oregon forward Jordan Bell redeemed himself with another chance.

As the Ducks got out and running down the floor, Bell went up and put down a vicious one-handed alley-oop slam right over Michigan. It was a great job by the Ducks to get their hands on the ball and to get out in transition.

Bell is one of those players that really has come into his own at Oregon. He’s built like a tank and he has the ability to leap higher than everyone else on the floor. His post moves and work inside have allowed the Oregon offense to reach another level.

Michigan learned real quick what happens when the Ducks get out and running. Both of these teams like to get out into space and put up plenty of points, but the game had more of a defensive feel early on.

Perhaps it’s the nerves that come with playing at this round or the fact that both teams are just that talented. The one thing that stayed true to both teams is that there were highlights early and often in this one.
