The Texas Longhorns got a pretty awesome visitor at practice on Thursday in the former of WWE superstar The Undertaker
The Texas Longhorns are hitting the field for spring practice currently, as first-year head coach Tom Herman looks to begin to make his mark on the program. Of course, we know that Herman can be the master motivator at times, and on Friday he brought in quite the imposing figure to give the 2017 team a little pep talk.
After practice wrapped up on Thursday, the Texas football team got a visit from WWE legend and Texas football fan, The Undertaker.
And no, unfortunately, he wasn’t dressed in full Undertaker garb like he was when he recently visited the Cleveland Cavaliers.
No hat, makeup and jacket aside, that was a pretty cool moment for those youngsters. Not everyone is a wrestling fan, and maybe not everyone on the Texas team is either, but people still know who The Undertaker is regardless. They knew they were getting a talk from someone pretty important, and hopefully he left them with some words that will stick with them for the upcoming 2017 season this fall.
The Undertaker is a resident of Texas, and has in the past went out of his way in some form to show his love for the Longhorns. So as much of a joy as it was for the team to hear him talk to them, it had to be equally as awesome for The Undertaker to get the opportunity to talk to his favorite team on the field.
Should the Longhorns have a successful first year under Herman, there are going to be so many “Rest in Peace” jokes ready to be used on the spot.
