A Guardian and a Stone Talus can fight in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Encountering a Guardian or a Stone Talus in Breath of the Wild can be terrifying, but when they’re fighting each other, you have nothing to worry about.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is full of creatures. Some are harmless, but the majority will look at you and attack you immediately. Among the most dangerous ones are Guardians. As soon as they set their sights on you, it won’t take long for them to fire. If they land, the results aren’t pretty.

Another tough creature is the Stone Talus. They aren’t as common but are pretty annoying to deal with as well. What if a showdown between the two actually happened? Well, a lucky player so happened to run across the two trying to settle their beef in the land of Hyrule. In all honesty, it’s pretty hilarious.

If anything, this goes to show you just how much detail this game really has. We figured that the Guardians and Stone Taluses would only target Link himself and would be able to coexist amongst each other. That doesn’t seem to be the case, however. The attention to detail and the AI design in this game is spectacular. It’s amazing to see.

A fight between a Guardian and a Stone Talus pretty much turns out how you would expect. Check it out:

Guardians can do plenty of damage if they land one of their devastating lasers. It’s no match for a huge stone creature, though. The Stone Talus grew tired of its pettiness and hit it with one of its signature rock smashes. As expected, the Guardian was sent into the shadow realm and it was glorious.

This only inspires us to see what else we can discover in Breath of the Wild. Maybe we’ll see some other brawls between other creatures if we try hard enough to find them. A dream matchup would be a Lynel vs. a Hinox.
