It’s not only Germans that love David Hasselhoff — and now, with the popularity of the upcoming Baywatch film, he’s just announced his own branded cruise.
In the early 1990s, Norm MacDonald joked that it was only Germans that loved David Hasselhoff. Thanks to what promises to be the success of the new Baywatch film — with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson filling The Hoff’s shoes as Mitch Buchannon — he’s capitalizing off of what promises to be a new wave of success by hosting a once in a lifetime cruise on November 4, 2017, on the Costa Favolosa.
A press release for the event states that the five-day cruise will feature Hasselhoff sharing a beautiful experience with fans as the Costa Favolosa sails from Savona, Italy, and continues on to Rome, Barcelona, and Marseille (off of the coast of France) before returning back to Savona. You can buy tickets for the cruise here.
Check out an exclusive interview with The Hoff about the cruise below.
Tickets for the cruise start at 799 EUR (about $865 USD) based on cabin double-occupancy. A full cruise itinerary can be found here.
"“Come party Hoff style! Rock and Roll on the sea with me and my team! Movie night, “Meet and Greet”, I’ll be singing all my hits and perform an intimate evening of songs from Broadway to the West End. Don’t miss your chance to really get to know one another!!”"
Despite people making fun of Hasselhoff, he actually has a long and storied career. He first began acting in 1975 with appearances on The Young and The Restless. And while some fans of a certain age know him for his work on Knight Rider, most people know him for his work on Baywatch, Baywatch Nights, and Baywatch: Hawaii.
