Oregon Ducks forward cleared the lane and put down a massive dunk and huge block against the Kansas Jayhawks in the Elite Eight on Saturday.

The first half between the Oregon Ducks and the Kansas Jayhawks in the Elite Eight was a competitive one to say the least. With a chance to reach the Final Four and a trip to Arizona on the line, both teams brought their best early. For the Ducks, Jordan Bell made a statement early.

Just as he has all year, Bell made sure to use his physicality and presence to get to the rim. The Jayhawks must have been taking notes about what happens when he gets the ball in his hands because he cleared the lane as he put down a huge one-handed slam. He didn’t stop there though, as he chased down for a block right after he scored.

If another team is clearing the lane for Bell as he goes up for the dunk, it’s a clear sign they respect his game. The forward has been one of the more developed players in his time with Oregon. His sheer power makes him a force to be reckon with.

The Jayhawks came into the game as the favorites but Oregon gave them everything they could handle early on. The Ducks reached the Elite Eight last year and would love nothing more than to push through and reach the Final Four.

To get there it takes players stepping up and helping out the other stars on the team. Bell has made sure to give Dillon Brooks and Tyler Dorsey all the help that they can get. He picked the best time to do so.
