Kansas Jayhawks star freshman Josh Jackson was having a horrible night against Oregon in the Elite Eight, but this flop made it even worse
Deservedly so, there has been plenty of talk about a number of highly talented and much discussed freshman in college basketball this season. One such player near the forefront of the conversation has been Kansas Jayhawks star Josh Jackson. The talented forward has been phenomenal all season and really changed the way Bill Self’s program has played in comparison to the norm.
Unfortunately, Jackson likely wishes that he and the rest of his team could’ve also changed the way that they played against the Oregon Ducks on Saturday night in the Elite Eight of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
Jackson was held scoreless in the first half against the Ducks as Oregon jumped out to an 11-point lead in the first half. Even worse, Jackson’s struggles extended into the start of the second half as well as Oregon’s lead only increased. However, going scoreless pales in comparison to one of Jackson’s flops in terms of unsightliness.
