Oregon had quite the first half against Kansas on Saturday, and Tyler Dorsey capped it all off perfectly

When Chris Boucher went down, there were many who questioned whether or not the Oregon Ducks could make a run to the Final Four, even with the other talent they have on the roster. Those players have stepped up in a major way through this NCAA Tournament, leading to the Ducks taking on Kansas Saturday night in the Midwest Regional Final.

One of the players who has stepped up is the immensely talented Tyler Dorsey, who capped off a very successful first half for Oregon in style.

With already what you could consider a comfortable lead, Dorsey pulled up for a 3 from Stephen Curry range, and with time winding down on the clock, the bank was indeed open.

That gave Dorsey 14 points in the first half and upped the Ducks’ lead to a very comfortable 11 points.

With the way Kansas has been playing, there weren’t a good amount of people who gave Oregon a chance in this one. Kansas in this Tournament has looked like maybe the definitive best team in the country, but with some solid shooting in the first half, Oregon has come out and punched them right in the mouth.

Oregon has now put the Jayhawks on notice with that amazing first half display, and if the shots are gonna be falling like this one for Dorsey, then Bill Self and his team might be headed for quite the letdown in Kansas City on Saturday night.
