Final Four 2017: Tip times, TV schedule for Saturday
Here are the tip-off times and TV info for the Final Four games being played on Saturday for the chance to play in the title game.
It’s one of the most intriguing Final Fours in years. Three of the four participants have really never been here before. It’s the first Final Four, in modern NCAA tournament history, for South Carolina, Oregon, and Gonzaga. Oregon made the tournament’s last four back in the 1940s, but there were only 8 teams in the whole Dance back then. It’s a much bigger deal now.

And they’re joined by one of the sport’s true blue bloods. North Carolina emerged from an Elite Eight bloodbath against Kentucky, returning to the Final Four after a painful defeat in the national championship last year. They managed to put Kentucky away in an incredible final sequence, and are in the Final Four for the second consecutive year.
The ‘upsets’ have continued through the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight, though it’d be difficult to argue that the teams that are now here don’t belong. South Carolina has crashed the party as a 7-seed, Oregon’s a 3-seed, and Gonzaga’s the rare 1-seed that’s long been considered the underdog. They’re all looking to control their own narrative next weekend, in order to etch their place into history.
And you can’t miss out on history. These last three games, despite the beauty of constant basketball in the early rounds, are what this tournament is made for. It’s where legacies are written, heroes made, and highlights turned into legend. In order to make sure you don’t miss out, we’ve got the tip times and TV schedule for the Final Four games next Saturday, in the prelude to the championship game. Both games will be on CBS.
These are the games you need to watch. Can Gonzaga put the finishing touches on a season-long middle finger to their haters? Will South Carolina and Oregon keep adding new chapters to their program’s history? Or will we see just another page added to the voluminous accomplishments of North Carolina, on their redemption tour after last year’s disappointment? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
