The Kansas Jayhawks are once again leaving the NCAA Tournament without a national title. Now the Lawrence Police Department is throwing shade at them.
In today’s culture, when you lose a big game, you get roasted online. Normally, the trolling comes from opposing fans and trolls on Twitter. However, after the Kansas Jayhawks suffered yet another Elite Eight loss, the Lawrence Police Department decided to join the fun.
Well, at least we have a lot of experience dealing with fans after an #Elite8 loss. Get home safely Jayhawk fans. #DriveSober

You know it’s bad when even your own police department is trolling you. Bill Self and his team should feel ashamed. That’s some grade A trolling from the Lawrence Police Department though. It takes a lot of courage to mock yourselves and the people you serve. Hopefully things stay OK in Lawrence as there are surely a lot of angry people. And some of them might be a little upset at their police department for pouring salt on their wounds.

The best thing about this Twitter account is they are sassy no matter what the occasion. All police departments should communicate like this. If they did, this world would be a better place. Or at least everyone would be too busy laughing their heads off to commit crimes.
100% chance that's a bad decision and it won't end well. https://t.co/iRAPjLGmUi

Not this. This is how other teams' fans celebrate. #CelebrateSafely #BestTeamBestFans pic.twitter.com/csph4NVhyB

While the St. Louis Cardinals are the best fans in baseball, maybe Kansas has the best fans in basketball. Is there someway the two fanbases can solve this?

For Kansas, this is yet another depressing loss in the NCAA Tournament. Self is one heck of a coach, but his legacy is starting to get hurt by all of these early exits. Imagine what people might think of him it wasn’t for Mario Chalmers nailing one of the most clutch shots in college basketball history. But at least Jayhawks fans can be proud of the Lawrence Police Department. They are the heroes this country deserves.
