DraftKings NHL Picks: March 27th Daily Top Plays

DraftKings NHL Picks: March 27th

Tonight’s slate features six games, with Calgary (3.5), St. Louis (3.5), and Carolina (3.2), holding the best projected team totals. I’ll be targeting players from these teams in cash games. Here are my DraftKings NHL picks.

NAS (-120) vs. NYI, O/U: 5.5

FLA (-125) vs. BUF, O/U: 5.5

DET vs. CAR (-185), O/U: 5.5

CHI vs. TB (-110), O/U: 5.5

ARI vs. STL (-290), O/U: 5.5

COL vs. CGY (-290), O/U: 5.5

Roman Josi – NAS (D) – $6000

Nashville will travel to Brooklyn to take on the Islanders, in a game in which the Predators are a -120 favorite. New York opened as a slight favorite, but as money began to come in, Nashville has seen a line shift in their favor. Roman Josi is always a safe bet, especially in a match-up where the Predators are projected to score 2.9 goals. Josi has a safe floor from his peripheral scoring. For the month, Josi is averaging 2.58 shots and 1.83 blocks per game.

Elias Lindholm – CAR (C) – $4800

Elias Lindholm is one of my favorite plays on the slate. Lindholm has been on an absolute tear of late, recording a 10 game point streak and accumulating 11 points over that span. Lindholm will skate on the second line, as well as the top powerplay unit. His shot volume, of 2.27 shots per game this month, comes at a bargain, as he’s priced under $5000.

Mark Giordano – CGY (D) – $5200

Calgary has one of the best matchups on the slate, as they play host to the woeful Colorado Avalanche. Calgary is a monster favorite at -290. Mark Giordano will play as part of the top defensive pairing and also play on the second powerplay unit. Giordano is extremely cheap on DraftKings, relative to FanDuel, at only $5200. His scoring through peripheral stats make him a viable option in cash games. In the last 30 days, Giordano is averaging 2.33 shots and 2.92 blocks per game.
