Brazil vs. Paraguay live stream: Watch World Cup Qualifying online
By Dan Voicescu
Brazil host Paraguay in a South American World Cup Qualifying game at the Corinthians Arena in Sao Paolo. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Brazil have been a juggernaut in South American World Cup qualifying so far and they look to continue their domination with a win at home against Paraguay. They have won eight consecutive games and another win against Paraguay on Tuesday could see Brazil become the first nation to clinch a spot for Russia 2018, assuming other results go their way.
Coming off a tremendous 4-1 away win against second place and historical foe Uruguay, Brazil seem to have recaptured some of their luster of old. Against Uruguay, it was the Chinese Super League star (and former Tottenham player) Paulinho who netted a hat-trick. Neymar, Philippe Coutinho and Casemiro all seem to be in top form at the moment, making Brazil a clear favorite against seventh-place Paraguay.
Brazil head coach Tite has two lineup concerns to worry about, as forward Roberto Firmino has been set back due to a throat inflammation, and Dani Alves is suspended.
Getting a point away to Brazil will keep Paraguay within striking distance of the fifth spot in South American qualifying, which would see them go through to the newly-formed Inter-confederation playoffs. Veteran Nelson Valdez will miss out due to injury, further complicating the Paraguayans game plan against Brazil.
