The Eagles need to improve their depth at tackle. They have two solid starters, but that’s not enough to protect Carson Wentz, who they have invested a lot of picks into. Julie’n Davenport makes sense as a developmental pick here. He needs to improve his technique, but he checks off every requirement physically. At 6-foot-7 and 318 pounds, Davenport certainly has the size to be an NFL starter. With some tutoring, he could be a solid starting right tackle.

Ryan Switzer gives the Philadelphia Eagles an intriguing playmaker. With Jordan Matthews hitting free agency after the 2017 season, he might be gone. Switzer could jump into his spot in the slot, giving Wentz a guy who can do a lot of damage in space. He also has a ton of value as a returner, though that’s just icing on the cake.

Should the Eagles get rid of Mychal Kendricks, as is expected, they will need to add someone who can rush the passer. While Anzalone can do some damage there, his durability is a question mark. Also, he is best used in coverage. Tashawn Bower is one of the most raw pass rushers in the 2017 draft. He didn’t see the field much at LSU, but when he did, he produced.
