No. 5:Ā Dave Meltzer
Twitter handle: @davemeltzerWON
Dave Meltzer is what Adrian Wojnarowski is to NBA fanatics all across the world.
Meltzer, who is the publisher/editor of the famous Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), is a professional journalist in the pro wrestling and mixed martial arts world. When he talks/reports, people listen.
If you want some backstage news in the WWE ranks ā like, what next yearās WrestleMania 34 main event could be ā Meltzer is your guy. Heās the scoop artist. His rating system (that was developed by Jim Cornette) that runs from zero to five stars with a few exceptions has always been the āitā thing to debate about when it comes to pro wrestling.
Those exceptions are negative five-star matches for the absurdly bad ones and six-star matches are an actual thing as well. (Example: Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega at NJPWās Wrestle Kingdom 11 back in January. Seriously, watch that match. Itāll change your life.)
When it comes to social media, not many are more active than Meltzer. Heāll throw in some humor and a few reminders to fans as well.
Even heās like, āLook, I appreciate you guys reading my work that Iāve been doing for decades, but Iām not God, you know.ā
Funniest is people complaining I hate matches that very clearly I loved, just didn't think they were the best match I ever saw. https://t.co/pdLEX1Xa5Z

Thereās also an actual Twitter account that was created in 2013 that takes actual WON notes from Meltzer and tweets them out.
I must admit, Iām still laughing at this one:
Somebody needs to reinvent the entire concept of wrestling. [9/99]
