5. LaVar Ball vs. Michael Jordan

Oh, LaVar will you ever stop?

LaVar has thrust himself into the spotlight this year riding the emergence of his son, Lonzo Ball. Since Lonzo came into stardom as a point guard for UCLA and potential top pick in the NBA Draft, LaVar has made himself into an internet sensation with his wild pronouncements.

Not only has LaVar gone toe-to-toe in a screaming match with Stephen A Smith, but he has managed to make his name the topic of conversation any time you discuss Michael Jordan. LaVar made a ludicrous claim that he could beat Michael Jordan one-on-one when he was in his prime. I thought it’d be fun to have them face off in the ring instead of on the court.

I’m sure that the trash talking from one another would be worth the price of the ticket, but the real delight would be watching LaVar eat his words as Jordan pummels him into the ground. LaVar would still be talking trash as he’s being annihilated but that would make it all the more fun. This is definitely one matchup that we can pray for but we will never get to witness. If it ever did happen, I think Jordan would take the dub.

Winner: Michael Jordan
