Find out when and where to watch to see if the first short track of the 2017 NASCAR season shakes things up.

The early season NASCAR schedule has a way of going from long to short, though not in a straight line. After kicking off with the Daytona 500, the circuit hits intermediate tracks and Phoenix’s one-mile layout before finally making its way to Martinsville in Week 6.

And that’s when things can really get interesting.

For instance, Kyle Larson is off to a torrid start, but can he keep it up at NASCAR’s shortest track? And will the Camping World Truck Series drivers, who have been off for several weeks, go right back to beating and banging on each other?

(Answers: we’ll see, and probably, respectively.)

This could also be the week that Joe Gibbs Racing breaks out of what by its standards is a little bit of a funk. JGR cars have won the STP 500 the last two years, and Denny Hamlin loves this track, having won the spring race three times since 2008.

Naturally, Fox Sports has all the action from practice to qualifying to the races this weekend, and we’ve got the info on when and where to tune in. Note that in counterintuitive fashion, the Truck Series race is on FOX on Saturday, while the Cup Series race is on FS1.

Next: When will we see a full NASCAR Cup Series field again?
