The Michigan State Spartans will be having their spring football game on April 1. Here’s how you can watch it wherever you are.
Coming off a terrible 2016 season, the Michigan State Spartans are ready for their 2017 season to start. So are their fans. Also, their fanbase is looking to get excited about something with the Spartans’ exit for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Luckily, their football team will be having their spring football game on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 3:00 p.m ET.
The Spartans will hope to answer some of the questions they have as the 2017 season approaches. First of all, the public will get their first look at the quarterback competition. Replacing Tyler O’Conner will not be an easy task. However, someone will have to fill his huge shoes. It will most likely be redshirt sophomore Brian Lewerke and senior Damion Terry, although four-star recruit Rocky Lombardi will surely get a shot as well. However, the latter will not be at the spring game.
Also, the Spartans will be hoping to see some offensive linemen step up as they must replace four starters from last season. Brian Allen is the only lock on the line right now. MSU will not have to worry about him, as he’s one of the best in the country. On the other side of the trenches, the Spartans will hope some redshirts will impress enough to grab the starting jobs available.
