The South Carolina Gamecocks and Mississippi State Bulldogs will battle in the 2017 Women’s National Championship Game on Sunday night.
The Mississippi State Bulldogs found themselves on the side of history on Friday night. Facing a UConn Huskies team that had won 111 games in a row, the Bulldogs managed to pull off the upset of a lifetime and punch their ticket to the National Championship Game.
They will face fellow SEC team South Carolina on Monday night. The Gamecocks have been impressive as well in the tournament and both of these teams now have a great opportunity to bring the trophy home with the Huskies out of the way.
