Rob Gronkowski arrives at WrestleMania 33
Rob Gronkowski will be at WrestleMania 33 to support his good friend and Andre the Giant Battle Royal participant Mojo Rawley.
If there was any doubt that New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski would be in the house to support his friend Mojo Rawley at WrestleMania 33, those doubts have dissolved.
Yes, Gronk will be at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday night.
Rawley will be one of the participants in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal during the show and his No. 1 fan (and the best tight end in the NFL when he’s healthy) will be supporting him.
Of course Gronk would be wearing that hat.
Gronk even spent some time with ESPN anchor and former WWE personality Jonathan Coachman after his arrival at Camping World Stadium on Sunday afternoon during a broadcast of ESPN’s SportsCenter before the big event.
Rawley and Gronk have been good friends for a while now and you’ve seen Gronk celebrate a touchdown catch during his days with the Patriots, you understand why he and Mojo get along so well. (Plus, Mojo was a former football player himself.)
Could we see Gronk in some sort of fashion at WrestleMania 33 helping out his good buddy? It would be crazy and probably a lot of fun, but probably not.
Gronkowski missed New England’s late-season run that resulted in another Super Bowl victory for the Patriots after surgery to a herniated disc in his back. It’s pretty obvious that the Patriots organization won’t want Gronkowski doing anything physical, but it is pro wrestling we’re talking about here. Anything can happen.

Regardless if he does something with Rawley or not, it’s going to be fun to see Gronk in the house with 70,000 other maniacs for the biggest show of the year in WWE. Somebody might get spiked.
