Bayley defended the Raw Womenās Championship against Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 33. Who left Camping World Stadium as champion?
Bayley had just a 25 percent chance of keeping her Raw Womenās Championship at WrestleMania 33 on Sunday night against Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Nia Jax in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match.
Charlotte won the Triple Threat match to crown the first Raw Womenās Champion at WrestleMania 32 against Banks and Becky Lynch last year in Dallas, but the wild card coming in was Nia Jax. The most dominant woman in the division had been on a tear coming into WrestleMania.
Who would walk away with the gold? Letās take a look at the highlights.
Nia Jax dominated the action early on, but three of the Four Horsewomen looked to link up and take out the dominant Jax in the early going. After getting a hold of Jax and hitting a Triple Powerbomb (we miss you, Shield), arguably the big favorite was eliminated first.
After Nia was eliminated, Charlotte looked to take out Banks and Bayley by herself. She landed a huge Corkscrew Moonsault on the outside that took them both out.
Sasha looked to seize control with her vintage (again with the Cole references) double knees from the top, but as Banks looked to take control and eliminate Charlotte, Flair used an exposed middle turnbuckle to knock Banks into next week and out of the match.
With just Bayley left, the four-time Raw Womenās Champion looked to make five reigns with her fatherās Figure Four Leg Lock.
Bayley was able to escape and set Charlotte up for a Macho Man Randy Savage-esque elbow that would draw the final pinfall and in her retaining the title. Through all odds, The Huggable One is still Raw Womenās Champion.
The women did it again at WrestleMania.
